The BM Group of schools was established by two visionaries Mr. K S Parameswaran and Mr. K V Krishnan. Both had their roots in Palghat District of Kerala and moved from Chennai to establish schools in Bangalore. Mr Parameswaran and Mrs Parameswaran went on with the establishment of Bangalore Montessori School at Ulsoor to start with and many other branches later on.Mr. Krishnan and Mrs. Seetha (fondly called as Chikka Miss by her staff and children) established the School at K Kamaraj Road in 1958 and later the present school at St. John’s road. After the untimely demise of Sri Krishnan, Mr. K S V Subramanyam joined the school in 1964. Under the governance of Mrs. Seetha and Mr. Subramanyam, the school rose to great heights. Mr Subramanyam completed 50 years of his teaching career and presently he is the Chairman of the group of Schools run by the society. Mr. Subramanyam was joined by his son Dr. Rajesh. The commitment to excellence and innovation has been maintained throughout. The BM group currently has a State Board School, and ICSE School. The State Board School is situated in the Central Business District. (St. John’s Road, Shivajinagar area) The ICSE division was established in 2004 in a sprawling 2.5-acre campus on the International Airport Link Road (Hennur Bagalur Road). Both the schools have a firm commitment to child friendly approach.
