About School
Bhagirathi Devi Arya Girls' Senior Secondary School was founded under the aegis of Bhagirathi Devi Charitable Trust in 1959 with the sole purpose of providing quality education to girls in the walled city area of Bazar Sita Ram where none existed at that period of time. The Trust in 1959, established Bhagirathi Devi Arya Girls Middle School at Gali Arya Samaj, Bazar Sita Ram, Delhi. The school in 1967 due to its consistent good performance and support of eminent and, in 1977, came under the CBSE 10+2 scheme as Senior Secondary School. Today, it is recognized and aided by Directorate of Education, Delhi Administration.
