KHUTAIJA KHATOON Educational society was formed in the year 2004 by Mr. Mirza Mohammed Ali Baig, popularly known as Abid Pasha in order to the cater to the Educational needs of the people in the areas in and around Falaknuma, Hyderabad(Old City). He felt the need for a good English Medium School that can give quality education at affordable fee. Since he has great adoration towards his mother, he decided to name the Society in his esteemed mother’s name i.e. KHUTAIJA KHATOON. This is a Minority Society that runs Educational Institutions at non-profit basis to benefit the Students of the Old city area. The Progress High School is one of the prestigious schools in Hyderabad, established in the year 2004. It is a private institution run by the K. K. Educational Society. It is affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education, A. P. the educational board in the state. It is recognized by the Department of Education, Govt. of India. Life at TPHS aims on a shared commitment to academic excellence, intellectual growth, art, athletics, high standards of ethical awareness, sportsmanship, and community service.
