The school is a dream project of Late Shri Dinanathji Dasture, Engineer by profession, founder of the society, whose vision was to create social awakening by establishing quality educational institutions. He established schools named as South Point School & The Royal Gondwana Public School, Nagpur. Founder Director of TRGPS, Wg. Cdr. S M Shukla (Rtd), former commandant, Bhonsala Military School, Nasik and former Principal of Sainik School (in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Rajasthan),was the Treasurer and also the Honorary Secretary of the Indian Public School Conference; and association of leading residential public school of the country.
