SMIBS - Stella Maris International Boarding School was founded on 1st, June 2004 at Koodaranhi, about 30 kms from Calicut by Stella Maris Educational and Charitable Trust, the Trust to provide high quality International Education to students of Koodaranhi and nearby villages at an affordable cost. It is recognized by the Govt. of Kerala and is affiliated to Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi with affiliation No: CBSE/AFF/930860. SMIBS runs classes from Kintergarten to Std X and plans to upgrade into a full-fledged Senior Secondry School in the ensuring years. The medium of instruction is English. Hindia and Malayalam are offered as 2nd and 3rd languages. The school adopts academic solutions such as XSEED, iDiscoveri International Curriculum.
