Maharishi Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec School, Chetpet, Chennai-31 came into existence in the year 1983 with Yogasana, Pranayama and Transcendental Meditation as the integral part of the Curriculum, with a motto, “Knowledge is structured in Consciousness”, as advocated by our spiritual Guru and founder His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Ypgiji. A modest beginning with a student strength of 75 in 1983, the school marched progressively with increased student strength and enormous infrastructural facilities in the years that followed. Within a short spell of 34 years, the school developed on the wings of success and earned a reputation in maintaining the educational standards.
