The Union Christian Association was formed on August 27th 1977 by a few like-minded Christians to promote holistic education for the benefit of all the people irrespective of caste, creed, religion or language. The school was opened on 18th June 1979. It is recognised as a Matriculation Higher Secondary School by the Government of Tamil Nadu. It is a co-educational English medium school. The school provides interesting learning activities in the classroom and outside and helps each pupil to develop his or her abilities to the fullest extent possible through extra-curricular activities.
