Indic at its root, International is outlook, facilities and approach. The Indic knowledge system refers to the collective body of knowledge, wisdom, and practices that have developed over thousands of years in the Indian subcontinent, encompassing various fields such as science, mathematics, medicine, philosophy, art, literature, and spirituality. This system is characterized by its holistic approach, where knowledge is seen as interconnected and interdependent, and where there is a great emphasis on intuition, personal experience, and practical application. This is the only system that offers Knowledge of Nature, of Society and of the Self all in one. While Indic is inspired by the practices that have developed over thousands of years it is equally Global in its outlook. The campus is designed keeping all the modern amenities that would be critical to the development of the child - an exhaustive library, Multipurpose Hall, Sports/Play area, Modern digital classrooms and much more. Our approach to education: "Everyone has in him (or her) something divine, something his (or her) own, a chance of perfection and strength in however small a sphere of activity it may be. The task (of education) is to find that sphere of activity, develop it and utilize it." ~ Sri Aurobindo Nothing can describe our approach to education better than these words of Sri Aurobindo. The essentials of which are: 1. That each child is gifted 2. That the task of the school is to help discover this gift and then nurture it to fruition. Our definition of education: “Education is the process of gaining/imparting relevant knowledge of self, nature & society; and helping people acquire the skills, values & attitude required to realise/actualise their full potential.” The above gives an idea of what one may expect to be delivered at our school. In simple terms it would mean delivery of not just the curriculum (Knowledge of nature & society) but much beyond it in terms of knowledge of self (meditation, self-control etc.) and development of each individual so that they are well equipped to attain success in all that they seek to do, while simultaneously being ready to face any challenges that life may throw at them.
