The mission of The Ompee Schools is to address the academic, social-emotional, and developmental needs of its students in a safe, supportive, and trauma-sensitive learning environment. The Ompee Schools is committed to serving at-risk students, including students in foster care and students receiving preventive services. Through a rigorous program of instruction utilizing a trauma-informed, Sanctuary approach and by providing a wide range of wraparound support services, our school will help each student become more resilient, independent, and academically successful. The after-school program was initiated with the sole vision of designing an atmosphere to prepare our children to grow into suitable global citizens of the future– an atmosphere that aimed to promote peer learning, embrace diversity, and encourage learning. Originating from the concepts of Howard Gardner related to multiple intelligence, we understood that the teaching methods of our school had to cater to diverse minds. We understand that children think logically and would love to learn by using the method of touch and feel. Ompee school is the first school in India that is associated with this certification that indicates high-quality education. The school is open to everyone and includes even professional classes which offer the best curriculum, facilities as well as faculty. The award of Top 10 International School in Gurgaon has been bestowed upon The Ompee World School at the North Educators Summit 2018, making it a very proud moment for the school. The event was held on 8th September 2018 in Taj City Center. We received the award in the category-” Individual Attention to Students”. We also won the British Council International School Award (ISA) International School Award 2017-2020 in the category “The Best International School”.
